Giulia Sandri
Giulia Sandri is an interdisciplinary artist who explores the magic that exists in the space between people and the connection that comes from the relation between emissary and receiver.
Her approach is shaped through a path that encounters music (diploma in Conservatory and post-diploma masterclass in flute), design (degree in Industrial Design at ISIA in Faenza, Italy), video-animation (degree in Animation and Interactive Media at R.M.I.T. in Melbourne, Australia) and anthropology (master's degree in Visual and Media Anthropology at Freie Universitaet in Berlin).
All artistic manifestations are oriented towards awakening an inner truth in the viewer and giving voice to the intrinsic vibration of living things.
The artistic realms in which these vibrational messages act include interpersonal performance, acrylic painting, pastels on paper, and theatricalization by means of installation objects involving furniture, textiles, vegetation, and jewelry, as well as everyday artifacts made in unique, non-serial pieces cloaked in intention.
Nowadays she lives on the island of Majorca, devoting herself mainly to the development of a visual language capable of integrating different levels of knowledge, an abstract approach to art and introspection in animation, video and performance works.
